Looking for drivers and teams for local and over the road transport, delivery of freight in a safe, efficient, timely manner. Some routes may also include loading and unloading cargo. Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EODObserve and driving activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing the rest and work periods for operators. Report equipment or mechanical failures immediately. Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible. Finding ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business. Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management, keeping a record of vehicle inspections and make sure the truck is equipped with safety equipment, such as hazardous material placards. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
